Practice Protection Network™ LLC provides practical professional development, training, and consultation to help mental health professionals navigate the clinical, ethical, insurance, and career challenges that come with doing this work.

Professional Development for Mental Health Professionals
You Were Trained to Provide Care—but Not Always to Navigate Everything That Comes With It.
Mental health professionals are expected to make complex clinical decisions, maintain defensible documentation, understand ethical and insurance requirements, manage risk, and build careers that remain sustainable over time.
Practice Protection Network™ LLC was created to provide the practical guidance, professional development, and supportive community clinicians need beyond graduate school.
Looking for Therapy Services?
Practice Protection Network™ LLC does not provide psychotherapy, mental health treatment, crisis intervention, or other clinical services. If you are seeking therapy in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, or South Carolina, please visit our sister practice, Wellness Tree Counseling LCSW PLLC.

Trainings & Consultation
Foundations of Clinical Confidence: Three Pillars Every Clinician Needs for a Sustainable Career
This interactive training helps mental health professionals understand how clinical confidence, practice protection, and career sustainability work together. Participants reflect on common professional pressure points, apply the three-pillar framework, and identify practical steps they can use in their clinical work and career development.
This training is available for supervision groups, mental health practices, agencies, schools, and professional organizations.
Burnout Recovery and Prevention in the Workplace
Burnout is not simply an individual problem. It is influenced by workplace demands, organizational culture, systemic pressures, and inequity-based stressors. This 60-minute interactive, trauma-informed training explores the psychological, physiological, and organizational factors that contribute to burnout. Participants will learn to recognize early warning signs, understand how chronic stress affects the nervous system and workplace functioning, and identify practical strategies for prevention and recovery.
Through guided reflection, workplace discussion, somatic regulation practices, and personal action planning, participants will explore ways to strengthen boundaries, support well-being, and contribute to healthier, more sustainable workplace cultures.
This training is designed for organizations and teams working in high-demand or high-stress environments, including mental health, behavioral health, healthcare, social services, education, nonprofit, and community-based settings. It is also appropriate for supervisors, managers, organizational leaders, human-resources professionals, and employee-wellness teams seeking a more trauma-informed approach to supporting employee well-being, morale, retention, and career sustainability.
Befriending AI in Clinical Practice with Confidence
Ethical Use, Clinical Limitations, and the Irreplaceable Role of Human Support
Artificial intelligence is already influencing mental health care. Clinicians are using it to reduce administrative burden, while clients are turning to AI for information, emotional support, self-reflection, and guidance. Avoiding the topic does not protect clients or practitioners; responsible engagement requires understanding how AI works, why people use it, where it may be helpful, and where human intervention remains essential.
This training helps mental health professionals approach AI with informed curiosity rather than fear or overconfidence. Participants will examine ethical applications of AI, privacy and informed-consent considerations, potential bias and misinformation, client use of AI for mental health support, and situations requiring clinical judgment or direct human care.
Social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists, marriage and family therapists, private-practice owners, supervisors, and other behavioral-health professionals.
